Ibrahim Shehu Shema is a seasoned legal practitioner with over 40 years of experience in legal practice, governance, and executive leadership. He holds an LL.B (Hons) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1984. He also holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) and equally a Masters Degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy (MIAD) from ABU Zaria, and further international certifications in law and leadership from the Academy of American and International Law (USA).
Dr. Shema has served in multiple high-profile public and corporate roles, including Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Katsina State. He was also Chairman of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA).
A distinguished member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association, and Associate member American Bar Association. He is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management (FNIM) and the International Dispute Resolution Institute (IDRI). Mr. Shema is a Notary Public of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and holds multiple honorary doctorates (LL.D) in law and leadership.
